My College Campus Has Flock Cameras. What Should I Know?

Last spring my college campus suddenly had a handful of Flock cameras over night. I didn’t know what they were for a while and assumed they were solar panel speedometers for some reason. I’m going back to school soon knowing what they are. Should I avoid walking by them? Should I totally not mess with them? How would I start a petition to take them down or who to contact to express my concern about them?
