Christmas lights plugged into one outlet stop my lamp in a different outlet ?

Non LED bulb stopped working when Christmas lights were plugged it but once I unplugged them it turned on right away and worked. Absolutely no idea why this is happening. Moved into a new apartment so idk if the wiring is done wrong.
