My mom was diagnosed in March, and her funeral was this past Saturday (July 25th). Four months. Treatment was not taken, as operating was not an option, and chemo/radiation would only make her miserable. Her short-term memory was shot initially, and her long-term memory shortly followed. In early May, she turned to me and asked; “where is your mother?” Sometimes I was her sister and other times I was her niece.

This disease is cruel. I hope an answer and cure is found soon.
