Need advice for a budget laptop in KHi

Struggling hard to play the OG Command and conquer Generals. Just to feel nostalgic and remember the good ol days!! Now the problem is that I have all apple machines cuz I'm a professional freelancer. So macbooks, Macs and Ipads. But even having all that tech I can't play a freaking 2003 game 😭😭 I tried my old trashy dell and HP but keeps crashing. Don't wanna spend much!!
