friend got diagnosed by herpes and now I’m reevaluating our friendship

I’m new to posting on Reddit like this so please spare me if I’m posting it on the wrong community or so.

My good friend got diagnosed with herpes few days back she’s one of my closest friends but after knowing she caught herpes it kinda changed things for me?
I’m very much aware of how herpes is like I’m myself from a medical background n I’m fully aware it doesn’t spread via normal touch and she can definitely live a normal life without spreading it to others if taken proper precautions. The only problem now is I don’t like it when she gets touchy with me anymore i really would like her to keep distance from me physically like refrain from hugging or touching/shaking hands (she meets me almost daily and shes a touchy person in general) and idk how to tell her without it being rude. She fucked around quite a lot and caught herpes and I really don’t wanna risk shit for myself. I don’t want her to feel like I’m treating her like an untouchable or something but it’s icks me out whenever she tries to touch even though I know how this herpes thing functions it just changed how I look at her n mentally altered my image for her. Idk how to approach? And I wrong for feeling like this?
