Standard mode sucks so badly

Out of 10 standard mode games, I've had 9 games with a leaver, usually a rage quitter. In 10 out of 10 games the team balance in skill level has been absolutely horrible, leading to a one-sided stomp on either side each time. On top of that, every single match has had someone who is actively trolling or griefing their team. What's going on?
