If I were in charge of planning out the new Mutant Saga

If I were in charge of planning out the new Mutant Saga for the MCU I would have two main trilogy properties: X-Men and The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.

-Magneto almost has to be brought in right away because his complicated relationship with Xavier is too important to just gloss over until it's convenient. However, starting a third reboot of the X Men with Magneto is stale and doing another "Is he a good guy or a bad guy?" thing like the First Class franchise did is out of the question.

-I would run these two trilogies parallel to each other with Xavier and his X Men taking on Mutant threats showing that mutantkind can be heroes and saviors. The Brotherhood movies would have human antagonists that show why those mutants have veered the way they have. The Thunderbolts movie showed we can take traditional villains and still make them the focus of the movie.

-I would have each franchises first film be completely independent of each other with virtually zero overlap outside of end credit scenes that show Xavier and Magneto's relationship. The second films would have slight overlap. Nothing more than cameos really. Finally the third films really bring the teams into each other's orbit with a culminating combined event where they finally face off.

-This allows for Marvel to explore other more villains, many of which have not been utilized much or properly while still keeping Magneto as the overall nemesis for the X-Men without him being beaten early on.

Villains for the X Men movies: Mr. Sinister, Hellfire Club, Brood, Shi'ar, Mojo

Villains for the Brotherhood: Grayson Creed and Friends of Humanity, William Metzger and Damage Control, The Reavers, Genosha, Weapon X, Department H(which could introduce Alpha Flight which is neat)

After the big combined movie, the two can still stay in conflict but then I would introduce Apocalypse as a threat to them both.

Obviously I am not in charge but I think this would be a neat way to handle it.
