PSA found rare style of men’s briefs

I was buying some new underwear from a brand I like called Jockmail and noticed they have pairs suitable for using with a prosthetic/strap-on!

While I’ve seen underwear with a silicone ring embedded before, these offer a feature I haven’t seen in other such briefs or boxer-briefs. These feature a very long opening at the back! I’ve not bought underwear with the silicone ring embedded in past, because I want to have open access to other bits down there. So I’ve ordered a pair of these and I’m very excited to test them out. I looked to see if any trans guys have posted about them here but didn’t find any relevant posts.

Not seeing a way to upload a photo. Otherwise I would share a pic. But they come in red, black and white. It seems Jockmail only sells this version of their underwear on Temu (they have their own website, and also sell on amaz*n - but they have different ranges and prices even of the same items across all 3).

Once I test them out I’ll update to say if they work as I hope they do. But in the meantime if anyone else has been looking for underwear with a silicone ring embedded that doesn’t close off access to your other bits, or if you just want a look here are the two listing titles:

They are the same garment, just one listing comes as a 3 pack and the other is a single garment.

There are also a few other brands on there selling the same concept but with different fabrics and colours, and one jockstrap style (though I’ve seen that before).
Note. Jockmail also sells a thong with a hole at the front, but the hole does not appear to have a silicone ring embedded, and looks like a much larger opening.

I also saw a listing “Men's Solid Color Sexy Low Waist Loop Front Open Underwear Detachable Soft O-ring Thong.” It’s not actually a thong. Just a thick top band part of underwear with a presumably stretchy thick string sewn on with a stretchy O-ring. I could see that potentially adding a bit of stability for strapless prosthetics/strap-ons while otherwise being totally bare.

There is a more stable looking option with a metal o ring that has elastic straps around the waist and legs too. There are also plenty of “hollowed-out” underpants essentially same as the previous but instead of the metal ring it is the stretchy band used everywhere else. This last one is pretty common across gay men’s underwear shops that also have fetish/circuit-party gear. Though have not tried, so not sure how much support they add. Would likely be dependant on the size of the opening on the garment and the girth of your prosthetic if it would add any support at all.
