chap 3:Upgrade

the old man started teaching me about everything there was to know about my magical

and about the magical energy called spirituality,he told me it could control objects

possess objects,get visions and other wonderful and magical things

it could even allow a person to possess someone, control spirits and perform ritualistic magic

but i told him that the only thing i got were visions and nothig else

Visions of a three headed giant symbolizing the past present and future in an infinite cycle

like the ouroborous snake

old man:i have been seeing the giant since i was a child at first he was benevolent and helped me

but now it wants someone to take it's place

it's tired of the burden,the cycle has ended for it

all the people that get the visions are supposed to repeat the role

but it has not found anyone to pass on the role yet

i was the one after him and i failed

and now it has become angry with me i was a powerful wizard back then

but now i have reduced to an old man that might have magical powers but can be taken out with a knife

i couldn't take over the role,so it has changed my duty to a teacher to the next one in the cycle and that is you

you will take over the burden,you have to or we might not survive and even if we do it might not be in a state we like

we have to be fast

and so he taught me for 7 days and 7 nights i sat there and learned to use every power that was available to me at that point

and after that i was taken to the next step

The old man did not have a potion prepared i had to eat it raw

AND SURVIVE

i had no choice

so I closed my eyes and ate it

It tasted disgusting but i can't describe the taste

it was disgusting but i can't describe it at all

for a few moments nothing happened

but then,it was as if my insides started burning

light came out of my eyes and my skin started glowing

it was as if i would die at any moment

and i held on for dear life

and SURVIVED

i burst into a fit of laughter

a hysterical laughter

a manical laughter

not because i had gone crazy

but because of the severe amounts of adrenaline that got released

i had just survived death

and my brain still hadn't realized

so i started laughing

to calm myself down

i laughed and laughed until my mouth started hurting

but i couldn't stop

after 20 mins of laughing and gasping for air

my body calmed down

and i knew

I had gone through an UPGRADE
