Violet saying Benedict is most like her came out of nowhere

This made me laugh because where did it even come from? we have actually seen a young Violet in QC and i didnt get any Benedict vibes from her at all.

A young Violet seemed more curious and inquisitive, her dad was literally calling her brains. She seemed like an intellectual young woman who was interested in asking questions and learning things. She seemed more like Eloise or Hyacinth to me. I think of Benedict as care-free and artistic, a bit unserious too lol and I just was a bit perplexed at this dialogue from Violet. Totally unnecessary too.

Am i the only one who doesnt see the similarities between the two? I didn’t get that at all. I feel like by S4, the writers are doing whatever lol nothing really seems character driven.
