The way Hasbro has treated the \*Rescue Bots\* brand in recent years is pretty disheartening. I’m one of those young fans who got hooked on the franchise thanks to these figures and the animated series; I remember constantly pestering my parents to get me these guys—and I still have them. Now that I’m old enough to buy my own figures, I’d at least expect Hasbro to realize that the \*Rescue Bots\* audience has grown up too, and that we’d be willing to buy definitive versions of our childhood characters (just like they do with the endless \*Generation 1\* rehashes). Instead, they decided to do whatever they felt like with these robots—which are so beloved by me and everyone else who grew up with the show—giving us a Chase retool and a Heatwave that... God. These were arguably the easiest designs to translate into new-mold toys, yet they still botched it. I really wanted to see definitive versions of my favorite characters. \*Rescue Bots\* kept Hasbro going for years thanks to kids like me, but now that we’ve grown up, Hasbro just decides to give us mediocre versions and cancel \*Rescue Bots\* releases—or push the next one all the way to 2028 (since there’s still no sign of Boulder or Blades in the listings).

It just breaks my heart a little that Hasbro treats these guys so rudely, the ones who fed them for so long and brought happiness to so many kids like me around the world (and who possibly helped them not to fall so hard with the failure of the Primes trilogy). The Rescue Bots deserve better treatment from Hasbro :(
