CONTESTANT OPINION BREAKDOWN
DISCLAIMER: Extremely long post. Strictly for venting purposes.
Never did I think I would have such strong opinions on contestants on a reality show. So here are my thoughts for some of the contestants (opinions till episode 30):
SHREYA: THE MOST MISUNDERSTOOD CONTESTANT ON THIS SHOW. I strongly believe this girl deserves all the positive credit she's getting from Farah, Ritesh and all the visitors on the show. The fact that people are salty about visitors coming in and saying "The Shreya Kalra Show" are just extremely jealous of her (including Shilpa Shinde -- more opinions on this woman to come). Shreya has been taking this game show as a proper reality show and isn't here to suck up to anyone, which frankly everyone has been doing. I truly hope she wins this show. Every emotion she has shown and every friendship she has made has been genuine on her part. If she's not liked by the people in the show, it's because they can't be her. Period.
CHAMOLA: What is she still doing on this show? She deserves the "boring" tag, tbh. I don't understand who she considers her allies and who she is against. At some points she's buddy-buddies with Shreya, and the next second she's fighting Shreya. Like where do you stand bro? She should have been evicted a long long time ago. One thing that really pissed me off was when Ram Kapoor was getting up in Pam's face -- Akanksha tried to get Ram to stop but then she said that she's looking out for his reputation and outside image. If you're a woman and you're trying to protect another woman then don't defend the man and say you're looking out for his reputation in the outside world. At that point you're only building relationships because you are desperate for connections and work after getting divorced from your actor husband.
CHAUDARY: Pick-me girl. That one blowout with Shreya was unnecessary and so ugly. There was nothing crazy on your face and her convulsing because she was so upset made her look like nothing but a psychotic fool. I hope people remember her for that outburst and choose not to work with her. She needs to detach herself from Yogesh and play her own game. Her, Yogesh and Varun just act like the kids crew in the show and don't have much input. Her becoming friends with Madhuri and eventually Shilpa and calling Shreya and others out for misbehaving with them is the most hypocritic aspect in this show. Not a fan of her.
YOGESH: Should've kept him eliminated. He's boring, has not input and only acts as Akanksha Chaudary's mouthpiece. Him asking Shilpa if he should stand up for her when other visitors were talking shit to her face is also just a joke because he's the one who has stolen her food and made her cry multiple times. Go home Yogesh.
RAM: OH MAN. Did I LOVE when Apoorva came on the show and called him out for all his manipulation. He's pathetic and a loser. People just revere him because he's a long time actor and well-known in the industry; but he's genuinely the biggest flip-flop who uses people and tells them what they want to hear but doesn't really have a stand of his own. I love how Shilpa pushes his buttons and brings the worst out of him. I want someone to vote him out. If this man wins, I will lose it. During the hanging game, I found him telling people to target him is just an attempt to look like everyone's savior but he only says it because he knows nobody is going to target him. He's a phony and it shows.
SHILPA: Although I didn't understand why she was being so annoying to everyone, I did find her entertaining. However, I don't understand her suddenly turning on Shreya but being so forgiving with everyone else who have literally abused her and spat in her face but fighting with the one person who has defended you and cried for you is beyond me. I truly think she is the real misogynist. I see how she has forgiving Harshad so quick but continues to talk shit about Shivangi. I think this woman has a problem with strong women and it shows.
VARUN: I have never watched any of his content, but from what I've seen he puts on this act that he's a good man but really he's a pathetic little boy who is hiding his misogynistic self. The way he felt so attacked that Pam called him a p**sy but he himself goes around swearing in his daily language is hypocritic in nature. I also hope this little boy doesn't win.
SUFI: Who put him in this show? All he did was cry, complain and ask to go home and somehow he stayed in the game. I hated when he would be quiet when all alone but then go act all big and mighty in front of others. He's got a filthy tongue and needs to stay at home. A big loser is what Sufi is.
HARSHAD: I used to think he was this cool suave man especially since I've watched him in television for so many years. Turns out he's Shivangi simp who can't control his emotions. I'm convinced this man is bipolar.
SHIVANGI: A nasty, cunning woman hidden behind the face of a sweet girl. Why does she look like she hasn't showered in days but puts on layers and layers of makeup and curls her front hair pieces as if it makes her look good. "Annabelle" is a good nickname for her.
Ultimately, Shreya deserves to win even though some of the things she did were questionable - she's stayed true to herself while others are simply set out to people-please and create a boring show.
