Extreme period pains
I am writing this while hugging a bowl, and waiting for meds to kick in. ever since January, my periods have been EXTREMELY painfull. The first time it happened, i threw up twice in my schools bathroom, and was in so much pain i curled up in the back of my math class rocking myself back and forth. I had to be picked up early (three hours into the day) and when i got home, i laid in the bathroom floor for 30 minutes crying. I would try to sleep it off, but would be up in 5 minutes to horrible pain all over. I missed school for 2 days because of this,, and ever since then ive been taking midol the day before my period, and the day after.
My mom and aunt(1/4 by blood$ both have had this type of period, with my aunt bring diagnosed with endometriosis. My mom says I dont have it, my aunt thinks I do. My periods aren’t heavy in any way, and only last 3-4 days. If i forget to take midol, i am battling tears, throwing up, and 10/10 pain. I was telling my friends about the state I was in today, and they keep telling me to go to the doctors because this isnt, “normal”.
my pains are so severe, i cant walk most of the time, food smells and sounds absolutely gut wrenching to me, and im just in constant pain. It doesnt help that midol takes TWO HOURS to kick in…idk, i guess in seeking similar stories, knowing im going to be dealing with this fir the rest of my life hurts on a specific level (im planning on getting a hysterectomy when im in my 30-40s(im 15))
