Career advice: Forensic science

I got shortlisted For NFSU for Bs-Ms integrated Forensic science . The problem is i don't know that Is there any job opportunities or abroad opportunities in future (5yr) . How much salary can i expect ? Is it a good option to pursue or should i drop the idea??

I want a ground reality check from the seniors or anyone who are in this field or have some knowledge.
