Great food spot in Medina

experience

I went to Zohid Kebab, the food was surprisingly unique and delicious. It is mostly Turkish/ Central asian cuisine. I tried chicken sote, lamb sote, cheese chicken over the course of few days. It exceeded my expectations.

PROS:
It has a good ambiance.
Not over crowded.
Not far from Haram. (2 minute walk from Gate 369)
The food is healthy overall (mostly meat and nice roasted veggies)
They give you fresh turkish tea (you can ask for it if they don’t serve it to you)

CONS:
Food can take some time +15 minutes as it is freshly prepared.
It is a bit pricey.

I would just order one dish and i would already have ZamZam water with me so my bill was not high around 30-40 SAR. Although, i would say it is a bit expensive if you visit with Family and order steaks or drinks.

The menu also mentioned different salads and Uzbek pilov but i couldn’t try them. They looked appealing though.

This place is not for you, if you are into spicy foods or looking for Mandi or Biryani.

It is located behind pull man zam zam in the building of Assafiya museum. (The Gate 369 side)
