A while back I accidentally spilled hand sanitizer on the fabric seats of my 2026 Camry LE. After wiping it up, I realized the alcohol had stripped the dye right out of the** **light grey/Boulder fabric upholstery, leaving a really annoying light grey/bleached spot that drove me crazy every time I got into the car.
After looking into solutions, replacing the seat cover or taking it in felt way too expensive for a small spot. I decided to experiment with an inexpensive marker fix:
**Interior Color:** Boulder Fabric (2026 Camry LE)
**What I used:** Master’s Touch dual tip marker from Hobby Lobby (shade CG0.5 cool grey)
**How I did it:** With the fine tip, apply super light— feather strokes brushing gently onto the fibers matching the direction of the fabric
**Result:** It blended into the woven texture shockingly well. I honestly can't tell it was ever bleached unless staring at it very close.
**Word of advice if you try this:** Definitely test your marker in a hidden spot first (like underneath the seat cushion or along a hidden seam) to make sure the shade matches once the ink dries completely!
Hope this helps anyone else!
