[F4M] Learning to be comfortable with your discomfort

NSFWConversation

Anyone who's even a little bit kinky knows by now that fantasy and reality are two completely different things. I'm sure a lot of women have had the same fantasy I did: getting really into deepthroat, wanting to be good at it, maybe even a little obsessed with the idea of doing it perfectly for the cock you love worshipping. But the first time you're actually there, on your knees in front of your man, you realize pretty quickly that it's not as easy as the videos make it look.

There's a lot to figure out. You have to learn how to relax your throat, how to deal with your gag reflex, how to stop overthinking every little thing...like how you might look in the moment, defeated, runny makeup, lots of drool on your chin, all of it. At some point, you just have to let go and get comfortable in your own skin. Get used to the idea of him loving you like that. And you know he does.

Is it worth it? For me, it absolutely is. What keeps me going is how much I enjoy his reactions, his deep moans, the way he lets go of control, the way he pulls me closer and caresses my cheeks. Being called \\\*good girl\\\*. That is what motivates me to keep getting better, to push past that little voice in my head that says I can't do it. And the sweet ropes of reward filling my mouth? Oh...yes, please.

We don't really talk about discomfort enough when it comes to sex or kinks. Deepthroating was just one example, but I'm curious how other people deal with that, how you learn to feel comfortable when something is new or challenging, physically or (especially) mentally. I'd rather talk about your own discomfort, not your gf's struggle. And what drives you to push through it and learn to enjoy it until it perhaps becomes your kink.
