Running out of power after every new update

Hello, was hoping some experienced factory builders could possibly offer some insight into what is going on. I've been following a youtuber's factory building guides since release (Xlice is his channel) and they worked very well for the first region but for whatever reason I've been having trouble with the Wuling region.

I copy the Wuling build guides perfectly (I triple check them everytime before I log off) and everything runs perfectly for WEEKS and then randomly I log in to find that the power is fully depleted? Which I find so confusing every time because how can everything be running fine for multiple weeks and then suddenly it just decides to stop working and run out of power? The only correlation I think I've noticed is that it seems to happen shortly after every new patch update but that may just be a coincidence...anybody else experience this or have any idea what could be the issue?
