Digimon OC/OS

While stumbling through some notes I wrote some 20 years or so ago or more, I found a collection of my original Digimon series concept. Not incredibly in depth but it’s a bit of fun I thought I’d share. It’s a retcon of a variety.
When Parrotmon and Greymon arrived and had their original battle, both were destroyed with their data fracturing in transit to the digital world creating a digital codex. In order to stop the Big Bad from getting the codex and opening the portal to the human world , as my teenage hands wrote so eloquently, the new digidestined have to travel to the digital world through a one way access point created by Gennai. The codex was comprised of 10 digital spheres that would be used by the opposing Digimon to gain power, specifically causing them to digivolve into corrupt Greymon mega alternatives(Of course back then I was only familiar with WarGreymon, BlackWarGreymon and Gaiomon as direct alternatives so I used my own originals) that the digidestined and their Digimon would have to defeat through digivolution and cooperation. The big bad was a mega alternative to Myotismon, Nosferamon, who employed a wide variety of Digimon. An alternative version of the Dark Masters collective who were actually protagonists against the rise of Nosferamon, an evil duo of Valkyrimon and Vikemon who served as Nosferamon’s generals, and some pretty less than impressive extrapolation on the story however it did provide me with a keen sense of Nostalgia.
