Dragons Dogma 2, or try KDC2 again

So I've been trying to scratch a gaming itch for a while playing a have where I go on a grand adventure with lots of wonder.

I tried KDC2 even it arrived on game pass and I thought the story and the way it played was great as in was lake watching a movie the only thing I struggled with was it felt a little slow and I couldn't get to grips with the combat pretty much got my ass whooped by the first real bandit several times then got wound up traversing all the way back over the map.

I hoped Crimson desert would be the answer and for a while it was I really enjoyed it but after a bit it began to felt repetitive (I know most games are to a degree)

Eden ring was the nest scratch for this in a long time.

I've heard some pretty good things about dragons Dogma 2, it is a fantasy world with some great mechanics giving you the freedom to defeat enemies all different ways.

In an ideal world I would like a game in a fantasy setting with a lot of wonder in exploration, good combat and a lot of freedom in the game mechanics with a plot that keeps you engaged in a route of progression
