Cooling the bed fixes night sweating. True or not?
A cooler room, lighter blanket, or better airflow can obviously change how warm sleep feels, but that does not mean bedding explains why someone is sweating at night. Someone may wake up warm because the room is stuffy, the bedding is too heavy, or the mattress layers hold heat, but repeated unexplained sweating can also be unrelated to the bed. Changing one environmental factor at a time seems more useful than replacing everything at once that can show whether the setup contributes without turning the experiment into a shopping project.
At the same time, symptoms that continue, become disruptive, or come with unusual fatigue should be discussed with a medical professional rather than treated as a fabric problem.
