Recommendation for AIO and Parts pricing.
Hey PCMR,
It's been a while since I've had to replace any major PC parts. I've been building PCs for years, but I definitely haven't kept up with every bit of hardware over the last decade, so I was hoping to get some advice.
I'm looking to replace my Corsair Hydro Series H100i V2 AIO. My motherboard is an ASUS ROG Crosshair VI Hero (X370, AM4), and lately my CPU has been overheating more and more often.
The system is clean, dust-free, and well maintained. I regularly clean the fans, I've reapplied thermal paste (most recently a few months ago), and over the years I've upgraded the RAM and GPU. The only original component that's never been replaced is the AIO, which I bought back in December 2017. After nearly 9 years of service, I'm thinking the pump may finally be reaching the end of its life.
What would you recommend as a AIO replacement (Or just rebuy the same one)?
P.S. While digging through my old emails to find the AIO model, I found the receipt for my old RAM kit. I paid £218.99 for 32GB in December 2017. I looked it up on Amazon today and it's listed for almost £1,000! l have it sitting in box in storage... maybe it's time to cash in!
