As a fairly recent transplant (moved from the Middle East in 2024), I'm putting myself out there yet again as a chat offering. I take being good company pretty seriously, and I’m hoping to connect with a few people who feel the same.

All I ask is that you're 28–36, UK/Ireland-based (hoping to meet up eventually if we click!), and ready to bring a little life to the conversation. Hopefully we end up as actual friends, but even just a fun, genuine chat is awesome.

Extra bonus points if you're Northern Irish or Scottish - I haven't met many people from either, and meeting some IRL is on my 2026 bucket list! I plan to visit Glasgow/Edinburgh in November

A bit about me:

• Midlands-based, non-religious, WFH in tech
• Travel: Counting down the days until the summer heat cools off so I can get back into daytripping! I’m on a temporary visa and trying to hit as many cities as I can while I'm here. I still don't have a clear favorite yet, so I’m very open to recommendations.
• Movies: Currently trying to log way more films now that I'm on Letterboxd (just finished Trainspotting and Poor Things). I'm also a big horror fan (how good was Obsession recently!!).
• Music: Listen to all kinds from Jazz to Scandinavian folk. Some of my faves are The Doors, Patti Smith, Nina Simone, Tinariwen, and Wardruna. Open to suggestions
