Penance brand Singletarget dps / choices

Hello,

i have a lvl 93 Elementalist and just switched from EK Ignite to Penance brand because i wanted to try something else and for more boss dps (in my mind)

While its great with obliteration and i can farm t16 comfy - i struggle more and more with single target dps.

My questions:

Any recommendations on how to improve it with penance brand? I might remove ele prolif for bosses and swap for another skill like swift afflication, that should increase DOT

Or are there any other builds that dont require huge skill tree changes but focus more on bossing?

Mayb smth like REAP / Exsa?

Thanks in advance
