Making friends as a teenager

1 am m17 and i'm trying desperately trying to make friends with local teens here in japan during my travels (i'm visiting tokyo)

1. where should i go to meet other kids
2. how should i approach people (i know a little bit on japanese already)
   some things about me:
   i'm very alternative, love clothes and everything fashion, im from america, and i DONT drink
