Hospital induction method options, need advice!

Need Advice

STM currently 41+3, if labor does not start naturally by Wednesday I will be induced at 41+5. With my first I went into labor naturally at 40+5 and delivered at 40+6 so I do not have any previous experience with induction. My hospital has given me the option of either the foley balloon or a course of angusta pills (misoprostol 25mg) to be taken every 2 hours.

Important to note that the hospital has said that with either method they will send me home and I will need to return to the hospital when labor becomes active, so I will not have access to pain medication other than paracetamol. I am very frustrated by this as the hospital is an hour and 15 minute drive from my house (meaning I will need to drive nearly 4 hours total for this whole process) but I can hardly force the hospital to give me a bed if they are unwilling or unable to do so.

If anyone has any experience with either of these induction methods I would greatly appreciate hearing about your experience!
