Advice: Chicago ORD to LGA

I’ve got a flight out at 705 am and have to go to NY for one night for work for a 430 dinner.

Delta 2633

1. nervous flyer so anxiety is worried about weather
2. curious if anyone has opinions on if the trips even worth it with potential delays or ground stops in NYC
