Reccs for trail shoes for the Camino
Hi there
Next year May, I am heading to Spain to do the Camino! However as an intern, money is tight and I want to save on gear where I can.
I would like to invest in a pair of hiking shoes/trail running shoes from a reputable brand that have been gently used. I am lucky enough to have orthotics/custom insoles that I can use so neutral shoes are good enough for me.
Below are some shoes I have seen that I am interested in but I would like others to advise on the best options for a woman with small narrow feet.
Salomon
- Salomon Speedcross Series including the Vario 2 trail running shoes, speedcross 4
- Salomon XA Pro 3D trail running shoes
- Salomon X-Scream
- Salomon Supercross 4
- Salomon X Ultra 360
Saucony
- Peregrine or Xodus model
Asics
- Gel-Trabudo trail running shoes
- Pure Gel
- Nimbus 25
I've been advised that quick dry and breathable shoes are the most preferable.
I am open to feedback and other brands I should look into as well as other gear that I should invest in for my walk next year!
