Struggling being off prozac 6 months later

A little over a year ago I was driving and had my heart rate skyrocket out of nowhere and felt like I was dying. Went to the ER and nothing. Needless to say that scared the shit out of me and I was convinced there was something wrong. Forewarning I've had health anxiety my whole life. That led to me being bed bound and stewing inside my own house for months. Went to the free clinic convinced still and they ended up putting me on metropolol prozac and benzos for situational anxiety. Rough at first but the prozac helped and I tapered off the metropolol and being scared of becoming addicted I used the benzos sparingly. 7 months later I felt good even though I was still having anxiety but was convinced if I got off the prozac and tackled it head on and raw dogged life I could be better. Started exercising and running a whole lot and just put my head down and for a while I felt good. Even into the start of withdrawal a few months later I was able to tell myself my brain is just readjusting and even then felt pretty good. In comes the intrusive thoughts towards myself and loved ones. Never had these in my life before the medicine and they scared the shit out of me. Kind of sent me back a whole lot. Then some derealization has kicked in and started questioning everything . Then starting to slowly just be scared of anything and everything and my anxiety has come back 10 fold. I have no desire to act on any of the thoughts and no that I'm just in my head and that everything is real but the stress and hyper vigilant mindset I'm in now constantly checking just feels like its getting worse and worse. Considering that I never had this stuff before it makes me scared to death to go back on the medicine and was curious if anyone had any advice and had gone through anything similar. Just looking for some peace
