What's up with all the bots in PokeMMO?

I played this game for a while like a year ago, one of the reasons I stopped player was that because of the bots on the GTL (instantly buying everything). I came back to the game a couple of days ago and there are still 24/7 active bots buying on GTL, when you sell an item that is under-priced. A bot just instantly buys it. What the hell?
Why aren't mods doing anything? You can literally just check if someone is buying a lot of items 0.2seconds after they are added and ban them...
