Car tint vinyl on a balcony

Hope this doesn't get deleted here but I didn't know where else to ask this question.

I've got a client that wants their balcony tinted, the glass already has the "sand" effect but it's too bright for them. All balcony/house window tint vinyls from my supplier are also reflective which is a no-go, so I've been thinking if I could install car window tint on a balcony?

Has anyone tried this or knows how the vinyl would hold up in rain or snow and if there's a chance of glass cracking on bigger panels?
