Lens for Nepal - 18-50 vs 11-20

Gear

Travelling to Nepal, and keen to brush off the dust from my old a6000 kit. Sort of gave up on it half way due to phone cameras being a lot easier to use for the sort of holiday I was doing, but now keen to pull out the old thing and start point and shooting!

Question is lens choice. I will be spending 99% of my time doing a hike so keen to keep it to ONE lens. I can definitely bring two but my experience tells me one will just stay in the bag 99% of the time.

Picks are:

- Tamron 11-20 f2.8

- Sigma 18-50 f2.8

- Sony 10-20 f4

I already have the stock 16-50, 35 f1.8, 55-200, 16 f2.8.

Normal lens is attractive because it replaces my kit lens, but the tamron is also attractive because most of what I will be seeing is landscape. Sony 10-20 is a close contender but for some reason the local prices have jumped a fair bit on that one and f4 is not ideal (I do astro once a year when we get aurora australis). I also have noticed that I tend to get annoyed all my pictures look the same when I shoot with a wide, less so with a normal zoom.

Thoughts? Even ok to indulge in real advice like just use the kit lens coz you're a shit photographer (not disputing that lol).
