Feeling lonely and hoping to connect with people who understand

I’m in my late 30s,with a partner and a child. I’m not here looking for a romantic relationship or to cheat. I’m here because I’m hoping to find people who might understand what I’ve been through and maybe make a few genuine friends.
Years ago, I experienced the most beautiful relationship of my life with a woman who was 15 years older than me. It lasted almost three years. It wasn’t easy, and we kept it private, but I was deeply happy.
Eventually, life took me in a different direction. I started a family and became a parent. I’ve never regretted my child, but a part of me has always remained connected to that side of who I am.
A few years later I fell deeply in love with another woman, nine years older than me. I finally found the courage to tell her how I felt. She didn’t feel the same way, and after that she slowly distanced herself from me. I lost not only the possibility of something more, but also her friendship.
It’s been over two years, and although life has moved on, part of my heart still hasn’t. I still think about her more often than I’d like, and sometimes I wonder if anyone else has gone through something similar.
I’d really like to talk to people who understand. Not for romance, just for honest conversations, shared experiences, and maybe friendship. Sometimes it feels very lonely carrying all of this on your own.
