What about half a year of Working Holiday?

Hi! So... I was thinking about going to Japan with a Working Holiday Visa but I'm not sure if I can spend the whole year there. I was wondering then if It would be worth it to get the visa just to be there five, six months? Maybe 7? I have so many doubts..

Did anybody do something like that? I would like to hear any experiences about that!
