S30 Pro disconnect issue

anyone else with a S30 Pro been having issues with repeated disconnects after the latest firmware upgrade? I've been getting apparently random disconnects, then re-connects after a half minute to a minute, during almost every observing session since the software update. I'm using it with a relatively new iPad Air. It generally happens within a few minutes of starting to gather images at the start of a session. It generally reconnects within less than a minute and continues normally. But occasionally it fails to reconnect and I have to re-start the program to get it to connect again.
