I died to the final boss with two powerstrikes left and I am genuinely haunted

I just had what was probably the most devastating gaming loss of my life in Sektori.

I got to the final boss with a completely cracked, maxed-out build. I had two shields left and four poweres up strikes (powerstrikes?). Four. I had absolutely everything I needed.

I hit the boss with one powerstrike, then got hit while waiting for the cooldown and panicked. I used another powerstrike, still had two more left, and somehow the attack put me underneath the boss where I got instantly killed.

I had two powerstrikes left.

It has been over an hour and I am still stunned. I know it sounds ridiculous, but I genuinely feel haunted by it. The boss version I got was not even especially difficult. I did not need to get hit. I had the win right there and completely threw it away.

At the same time, I am almost in awe of the game. The amount of split-second decisions I had to make during that run just to reach that moment was incredible. Very few games have ever made me feel this locked in or affected me this much after losing.

Sektori might honestly be one of the best games I have ever played. It feels revolutionary. People should be protesting in the streets that there is no Sektori 2.

My life will not be complete until we get Sektori 2 in full VR.

I am partly joking, but also completely serious.
