How do I find my Valorant sensitivity? Beginner question

Hey guys, I was playing at 1.4 sens / 800 DPI and it felt fine to me but I want to headshot more but people told me that’s way too high. So I looked into it and apparently most players are around 0.50 at 800 DPI.

Problem is, at 0.50 it feels super slow and I’m struggling a lot to do 180s. Is this normal? Like is it just an adaptation period thing, or does that mean 0.50 is actually too low for me?

Would appreciate any tips from people who went through the same sens change. How long did it take you to adjust?
