Can we talk about how some people in this fandom have completely lost the plot? Because the way certain fans are trying to morph a literal background extra into the main character of the entire Maasverse is honestly exhausting.

Let us get one thing straight: the **Archeron sisters run this universe.** We read Feyre, we read Nesta, and newsflash, we are about to read Elain, the final Archeron sister. Elain is not sharing her spotlight, her book, or her narrative with some random side character, and she sure as hell is not sharing it with one of Nesta's leftover support group besties.

Look, I love the Valkyries as much as the next person. Gwyn and Emerie are fine. But are they on the Archerons' level? Absolutely not. And can we please stop acting like they are walking mystery boxes with hidden lore? We already read their arcs. They trained, they trauma-bonded, they conquered the Blood Rite, they reached their goals. Their character arcs are done. They are not vanishing off the face of the earth, they are Valkyries, they will show up if a war breaks out, but that does not mean they need to hijack every single plotline.

Gwyn has zero connection to Elain. None. She is not in Elain's story, she has no ties to the main plot, and frankly, she does not care about your ship wars because she exists outside of them.

I know some of you are desperate to read her romance, but let us be real: Gwyn is not ending up with any of the main powerhouse males. If she even gets a romance, it is going to be a background footnote, ala Amren and Varian style.

I am just so tired. Every single trait, milestone, theory, or cool role belonging to Elain, Nesta, or Feyre is constantly being ripped away and slapped onto Gwyn like some desperate participation trophy. Turning a minor side character into the main character universe saviour just because you want your fanfic headcanons to be canon is so ridiculous. Let characters stay in their lanes!

I feel like everything Archeron has is somehow being pushed onto Gwyn. A good aunt to Nyx? That is Gwyn. A new sister to Feyre and Nesta? Gwyn. The person who will be friends with Rhys? Gwyn. Theories about the Dusk Court? Gwyn. Who is going to use the Harp? Gwyn. The new High Lady of the Night Court is Gwyn, the Queen of Prythian is Gwyn, the Starborn is Gwyn, the leader of the Valkyries is Gwyn.

And I am not even making these up 😭 these are actual theories that exist. So can we please just leave Gwyn alone? They stuff her into roles she has nothing to do with, and then when someone pushes back, they act like you hate Gwyn. Why would anyone hate her? She is a flawless supporting character.

I had to make this rant, I am sorry. There is really not much time left until the new books come out, and I know they are going to be disappointed. They need to prepare themselves.

Stop making random support characters the chosen one, I’m begging you
