30M need advice on moving to a different country for my long distance partner

Exactly what the title says, I just don't know what to do. We've been seeing each other for about two years now and it's time to start making some decisions. She lives in France and I'm also living in the EU. Unfortunately I don't speak any french (I'm willing to learn though).

We were talking about doing a 1 to 2 month trial period, meaning I would live with her in her country and see how it goes. I would really appreciate experiences from others who have moved to a different country for their partner and how that worked out.

The thought of building my life from scratch in a different country is a bit terrifying.
