My friends think the company I finally got a job at is bad and I should change ASAP

I'm a fresh grad studying Agriculture, not particularly talented, nor particularly smart. Just so-so. I'm not particularly ambitious either, just want a solid, stable job where I can retire with. The company I interned at is a MNC, pretty well-known in the agriculture world. If it weren't for my current group of friends, I wouldn't even choose a MNC to begin with. They were right about choosing a MNC cause I love how systematic and clearcut the management is.

So, when I got the offer to continue working for RM3.8k basic + free housing & utilities, I agreed in a heartbeat. When I shared this news with my friends, suddenly it's not a good company. They told me to upskill and leave as soon as I can. Now this kinda hurted me cause I like this company. I like the people, the culture, the career ladder and progression, the benefits, and most of all, I like agriculture life.

I shared this with them but they said other companies provide the same things but "better". I'm a bit lazy to go investigate their claims but my mom who is a retired HR said that what my current company offers is already above average. Idk what's my friend's problem tbh.

For context, they're IT, Accounting and Statistics peoole. And they started being against my company when I dropped out of a free Data Analytics class we took together due to bad Internet connection (which is an excuse I gave them, the real reason is because I couldn't catch up and am just not built for data IT stuff).

They thought my company is preventing me from upskilling and no matter how I try to explain otherwise, they won't listen. The company literally sponsors employees to get skill certificates like AISP.

I'm just sad cause I won't be able to share anything related to my job, which will be a big part of my future, with them anymore if they keep reacting like this. They were right the last time but I think their industry is far too different from mine for them to have a say in my career path anymore.
