Has this happened to anyone else?

So I was playing t3 cursed totenreich doing the EE with a guy I met on discord. We got to round 53 or so I believe and beat the boss. When we pressed continue and went back to the spawn room we started to pick up our loot and we were gonna do two different relic trials that we already opened the portal for. My screen started glitching and acted like I was teleporting (the blue/purple screen when you teleport somewhere) then it said he disconnected and then it said I died. While my screen was glitched I could still see the icons for the flawless aetherium crystal and perks and stuff. He said something about it saying player kicked but I'm not sure English is his first language so idk if that's exactly what it said. Just wondering if anyone's seen this before because neither of us have. I'm kinda upset about it because him and I don't get to play together very often and he was gonna help me with the relics since I did the EE with him. I would've played another match with him but it's almost 4am here now and our match was over 3 hours long. Idk why it would glitch like that. Maybe we accidentally pressed the exit button instead of continue? I'm pretty certain I clicked continue but maybe not. If anyone can explain why this happened that would be great and if not then that's okay too. Thank you.
