Modern Cottage Exterior Design, What Would You Change Before Construction?

I'm working on the exterior concept for a compact modern cottage and would appreciate some constructive feedback before moving further with the design.

Some of the goals for this concept were:

• Clean, timeless curb appeal
• A welcoming front porch that adds usable outdoor space
• Large windows for natural light
• A balanced roofline that's practical to build
• Simple materials to help keep construction costs reasonable

I'd love to hear your thoughts on a few things:

• Does the front elevation feel balanced?
• Would you change the roof pitch or porch design?
• Are the window proportions right for this style of home?
• Would different siding or exterior materials improve the overall appearance?
• If this were your project, what would you change before construction?
