Solo dev here. Store & Forget is a home inventory app built on the assumption that you are never going to get organised, and that you should not have to. Box things up however you like. Remembering where they went is the app's job.

Smart Scan is how things go in. You photograph an item as you stash it and it writes the name, brand, description and specs for you, so there is nothing to type or tag. The shot above is a power bank going in that way.

Getting them back out is Smart Find. You describe the thing the way you actually think about it, something to cut thick cardboard rather than the box cutter, and it tells you which box or shelf it is in, so you go straight there instead of opening all of them.

Fire & Forget is burst mode for the days you are putting a whole shelf away. Keep snapping and each photo becomes its own item, with the naming and describing happening automatically in the background while you are still shooting. You look over the batch at the end.

Bring Your Own Key is the one for people who scan a lot. Scans run on a cloud AI service, and pasting in your own free key means they stop spending credits.

Those last two are paid unlocks, $4.99 for Bring Your Own Key and $2.99 for Fire & Forget, and both are free until 10 August. Open Settings, tap the app version at the bottom five times, and a dev console opens. Type unlock byok, then type fire. You need version 1.22.4 or newer for that second one.

The rest, plainly. Your inventory is a database on your own device, so adding, browsing and keyword search work with no account and no connection, while Smart Scan and Smart Find are the parts that call out. Backup to your own Google Drive is optional. 18 languages, Android only.

Happy to answer anything, and I would like to hear where it feels clunky.
