Steam deck trade pains and woes begone!
I got sick of typing out trade requests with the on screen keyboard, so i found a good solution! The app KDE connect allows you to control a computer's inputs from your phone with an app, but the issue this has is that by default it won't work in gaming mode. To get around this, the KDE connect decky loader plugin SHOULD make this functionality available, except for whatever reason it doesn't work anymore. Thankfully, someone else found a fix!
Helpfully, you can skip the typing by using... Kde connect... to copy and paste the edits that need to be made from your phone to the text editor!
It seems like a bit of a chore especially if you aren't used to fiddling with the steam deck in desktop mode, but it genuinely takes like 5 minutes to do and saves SOOOO much pain and suffering in the long run, and has uses in other games too. Just remember to turn it off when you aren't actively using it, as allowing people on your WiFi network potential control of your computer isn't wise.
To conclude, I didn't find this first, I just followed the steps and had my life changed, go thank Christovftw, Fancypantalons and Corbrum
