Exploring DA/FA and other attachments
Not my personal growth. But **ours.**
There is a disconnect here and I'm interested in connecting. If you want to rant, that's fine, but I'm looking for engagement as a person with fearful anxious attachment and feeling discouraged by rants that depersonalize human and life realities.
- What is attachment theory? Is it behavioral or personality? How does personality get shaped and can our perceptions ,(which shaped our behavior),that we learned as children change?
2.What is the difference between avoidant personality disorder and avoidant attachment?
3.Are Dismissive and Fearful attachments the same?
4.Are Anxious and Avoidant the same?
5.What makes someone Secure? Would your worldview change if you were not raised in a secure environment?
- How would you look at the world if you were suddenly dropped into a war zone? Or vice versa, how would you as a Dismissive, Fearful or Disorganized attached child see the world if you were dropped into a safe loving one?
7.How do these attachments develop and why are they still pervasive into adulthood? How do they differ from trauma?
8.Is trauma what forms attachment style or completely separate but cohabits with it?
9.What distinguishes your attachment style from your ex that you broke up with or broke up with you?
10.How did you last for years with this person and why?
11.How did you help or contribute to the break down?
12.Do you think your attachment style opposed your ex's? As in, you were with a dismissive and have anxious attachment? Were they Disorganized and you are secure?
