Rhaenyra & Mysaria
Rhaenyra and Mysaria are NOT romantic.
I didn't like the scene nor I did find it necessary, but I understood the resasoning behind it a bit better now that I've watched the episode.
Mysaria got told by Sylvie that a prostitute will always be that and nothing else to highborns, so what does she do to assert her power over Rhaenyra so she can keep manipulating her? She sleeps with her.
Rhaenyra, on the other hand, is losing it and feels helpless, everything is going downhill for her, so she easily gets manipulated by the enticing lie Mysaria tells her: that she is worthy of her father’s crown.
It's not romantic, it's manipulation on one side and desperation on another.
Still, it could have been shown in a subtler way than letting them sleep together. But those writers don't know what subtlety is, even if it booped them on the nose lol.
