How do people even love their parents?
TLDR: Parents couldn't accept that I'm more efficient than her in chores
We moved into the new house on August 1. The next day was my birthday, so I spent the whole day out with friends. Ever since then, my parents have been constantly nagging me that I'm not helping enough.
Today, I finally finished organizing my room. It took me a while because I wanted to do it properly, and the my room was way more neater than the their room
Today I mentioned this, hoping for a bit of recognition. Instead, my mom immediately snapped, saying she’s the one who has to cook while I don’t do anything (She is a stay-at-home mom, that's her JOB)
I may have told it on a "I proved you wrong" tone, because the nagging since 2 days was too much, as if I didn't do ANYTHING. Why is it so difficult for them to just acknowledge that?
