Portuguese Way transportation
My family will be walking the Central Portuguese in September, but now my husband has injured his knee. I’m very doubtful he will be able to walk 10-15 miles a day, but he still wants to go and try. Mostly he doesn’t want to miss this special time with me and our son. I’m wondering what transportation options we might have for him between each town. We’ll be starting our Camino in Valença and staying in Porrino, Redondela, Pontevedra, Caldas De Reis, Padron, and Santiago de Compostela. Are there taxis, ubers, trains, or bus service in each of these towns that we could arrange last minute? I have pre-booked private lodging for each town so if we take longer to walk that would be okay. We’ve considered renting him a car but then he wouldn’t get to walk even if he felt up to it. Such a conundrum!
