Distance and time in Indian Railways

Recently I noticed that the distance between the stations namely Birur Junction to Shivamogga Town is just around 63 kms.

When I observed the timings, the railway app, railone showed itas 2 hours as the timings.

I literally couldn't understand the logic. When they say, it is an express train and the speed we generally expect it to be minimum of 80 to 100 km per hour, why does a train need 2 hours? That too, for a express train?!

Does it travel at 30 km per hour?!

I am totally surprised....

Can anyone explain this to me please...
