How do I tell the DJ my music taste has completely changed since I last used Spotify

So I’ve come back to Spotify after 3 years of using Apple Music just to check it out and see what’s changed, and there’s some cool features. The only problem is my music taste has completely changed during that time so whenever I use DJ it still plays my music from 3 years ago and thinks I’ll like it! Do I just need to listen to a lot more music that I listen to now or do I have to request every single time that I don’t want it to play that?!
